How Zycus & Ripple Together Transformed The Sales Process Using Videos
Zycus is a global procurement transformation company whose audience is primarily a B2B one. With over 1,000 employees across the globe, Zycus has a host of solutions that are used by large enterprises worldwide.
The information Zycus had to disseminate was complex and took time to consume. Text and image based content was not effective. The Zycus team believed that explainer videos could be the answer.
But, they found that creating video content was taking up too much of their team's time and there were concerns about the quality of the videos, meeting deadlines and sticking to budgets.
We worked collaboratively with the client to formulate a phased video plan and a process that worked to ensure that videos met their expectations and were delivered on time.
The idea was to create short 1-3 minute videos which would showcase solutions to pain points that Zycus' prospects would immediately identify with.
We created and deployed 15 videos over a 6 month period. Each video was customized for different departments within enterprises and addressed specific issues they faced. We then showcased the Zycus offering that eased the challenges each target group was facing.
We kept the videos as short and informative as possible, using visual imagery that struck a cord and made the video memorable. Ripple's writers and visualizers worked in close collaboration with Zycus's marketing team since they had a pulse on their target audience and knew the solutions best.
Deploying videos consistently and at various stages in the buyer journey helped prospects understand the value of each solution, the benefits and helped them make the buying decision.
